GNET’s Roadmap to Agriculture identifies numerous opportunities, challenges and stakeholder engagement actions towards reaching net zero emissions by 2050. The WDA has been working on delivering two pivotal projects to assist our regions’ agricultural industries to meet this target. The findings from these innovative projects will be presented at the forum, along with:

• Research on transforming green hydrogen to ammonia-based fertilisers

• Mitigation/transforming options for heavy vehicle transport and the role hydrogen can play

• International markets and their influence on Australian farmers to reach net zero

• Water needs and planning for a net zero economy
